We know some of you might look at our shop and wonder: “Why are the products a little expensive?” We hear you, luvlie buds, and we want to be transparent about why our pricing is set the way it is.  

🌸 GIVING COMES FIRST

A portion of every sale goes directly to our Passing It Forward campaigns.

Currently, 30% of net profit from all shop products is set aside for giving (50% for Blessed Jar and Checkout Donations). This ensures that while you shop for yourself, you’re also blessing others along the way.  

But even after deducting that portion, we still need to cover:  

• Campaign buffers (so we can give consistently)  
• Discounts (yes, they’re charged to us 🥲)  
• Print-on-Demand production costs  
• Business operations like domain subscriptions, bills, app subscriptions, platform subscriptions, and platform fees  
• And of course, a modest amount to sustain me for my everyday living expenses (because yes, luvvie, I also need to live 🥲).  

🌿 WHY USE PRINT ON DEMAND?

Since we’re starting fresh, our funds are limited. Producing items locally in bulk isn’t possible yet. To save costs, we’ve opted for Print on Demand (POD) services integrated with Fourthwall — the platform where our website is currently hosted.  

This means:

• We only receive payouts once a month.
• Campaign giving happens mid-month of the following month, after payouts are processed.
• Sometimes payout delays or issues may arise (we pray they don’t!), but if they do, we’ll notify you transparently.  

🌼 SHIPPING, VAT, AND DUTIES

Another reason prices may feel higher at checkout is because shipping and VAT are calculated during checkout, not included in the listing price.  

• Some countries may not be charged VAT, but custom duties are the responsibility of the purchaser. The platform can’t calculate these ahead of time.
• We encourage you not to ditch your orders if duties or taxes are applied upon delivery—these are standard for international shipments.
• To save costs, we recommend using forwarders. Many forwarders help with duties and taxes, and using a US/EU forwarder address (where most of our POD partner's warehouses are located) can sometimes reduce shipping expenses, especially for bulk orders.  

Choose whichever shipping method works best for you — cheaper, more reliable, or more convenient.

At the end of the day, our products aren’t just items.

Every purchase sustains the mission, supports the florist, and plants seeds of hope through our campaigns.  

So yes, our products may be a little pricey. But every cent is accounted for — with transparency, stewardship, and love.
